报告简介:

Data-driven surrogate-assisted evolutionary optimization has attracted increasing attention in the communities of evolutionary computation, engineering design and machine learning as well. This talk is going to briefly introduce the basic ideas of surrogate-assisted evolutionary optimization, followed by a discussion of different Bayesian approaches to surrogate management. We will then present a few recent advances in real-world offline data-driven optimization problems, ranging from industrial processes to deep neural architecture search.

报告人简介：

金耀初教授在浙江大学电机系获学士、硕士和博士学位，并在德国波鸿鲁尔大学神经信息研究所获工学博士学位。现为英国萨里大学计算科学系“计算智能”讲席教授, “自然计算与应用”研究组主任。他是教育部“长江学者”讲座教授，国家特聘专家，芬兰国家技术创新局 “芬兰讲座教授”。金耀初教授是IEEE Fellow，《IEEE认知与发育系统汇刊》主编。长期从事进化优化、进化学习及进化发育系统的理论与应用研究。
